Presentation of our vineyard in Tavel
First traces of viticulture in Tavel area date back to the First Century A.D.
The Popes of Avignon already appreciated the wines produced by religious communities.
During the Nineteenth and the Twentieth Century, Tavel wines were found worldwide.
Château de Manissy
Château de Manissy, is owned by the Holy Family's Missionaries, and produced rose wines since the beginning of the 20th century and acquired a famous reputation with the "Tête de Cuvée" wine, a barrel-aged rosé.
For the last few years, a young winegrower, Florian André, carries on the traditional way of winemaking and creates two other rosés as well as several red wines and a white wine, with talent.
