Côtes du Rhône - White wine
The vines benefit from the southern sunshine as well as the purifying Mistral wind. The three and a half hectare vineyard has a rich soil with clay and chippings on a sandy subsoil. The vineyard is terraced facing south to south-east.
Grenache white - Clairette white
Picked mainly by hand early in the morning, the grapes first have a low temperature maceration for four hours before pressing and fermentation, 20% in new french oak barrels, the rest in stainless steel. The wine is matured in barrels with regular lees stirring.
A well-rounded, full-bodied wine with a hint of vanilla and cooked fruit on the palate, finishing voluptuously with nuances of peach and ripe pear.
To be served with
Excellent as an aperitif and with regional specialities such as Osso-Bucco and Blanquette de Veau, fish and soft cheese. Try it with mature goats’ cheese, fruit cake and other desserts.
